This wand is made of hand turned Purpleheart wood with a sealed core of unicorn mane. It is 18" long and finished with museum quality archival wax.
Purpleheart, when freshly cut, is a lavender tan which gradually deepens to a rich royal purple when exposed to gentle heat and sunlight. It is a dense, slightly open grained wood found in central and south America.
Although titled as Purpleheart Wand 2, it is a unique carving; simply the second piece I carved from purpleheart.

Not a toy and not suitable for children under 13.
